Laurie has been practicing yoga on and off for the past 20 years. Two years ago when Laurie started a truly dedicated yoga practice, it became a journey towards wellness and healing. She has always been drawn to the physical aspects of yoga, but through a regular practice she is learning the multitude of additional benefits a regular yoga practice provides. Laurie’s goal is simple: To share the journey and joy of yoga with others.
Fitness has always been a part of her routine, but nothing has provided a more grounding and healthy foundation as yoga. Laurie’s fitness background includes competitive swimming, rowing, triathlons, running, cycling and teaching fitness classes both in the water and on the land. But yoga is something that Laurie will always practice. Currently, Laurie is working towards her 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher training.
